Phase Separation in Cell Division

The process of cell division requires spatial and temporal control over microtubule-associated proteins and their regulatory factors to promote the assembly and function of the microtubule spindle. In this review, Ong and Torres describe the role of phase separation in cell division and in coordinating and organizing the assembly of cell division factors and the microtubule spindle.
