It's always about numerators and denominators (N/D)

A both fundamental and seemingly simple methodological requirement in clinical epidemiology, and more generally in research and care, is the adequate handling of numerators, denominators, and their interrelationship N/D. This implies not just good arithmetic, but primarily conceptual understanding.
