Implementation of Breast Specific Radiotherapy Follow-Up Care Pamphlet

Patients require various information at the end of their radiotherapy (RT) treatment as they transition to the next phase of survivorship. Moreover, patients with different cancer diagnoses may benefit from disease-specific information. At our institution, a radiation therapist (RTT) provides patients with a short summary of post-treatment education together with a general post-treatment education pamphlet 1 week prior to the completion of RT. The pamphlet includes a collection of questions that patients should ask their attending radiation oncologist (RO) or team as part of their discharge care plan during their last review clinic appointment.
