Re: “2019 ACR Commission on Human Resources Workforce Survey”

Each year the ACR Commission on Human Resources publishes a workforce survey. The goal of this survey is to identify the current composition of the radiology workforce and to establish hiring trends of practices for radiologists in each subspecialty. Since the inception of this annual survey in 2012, excepting 2017, which focused on management trends and strategic needs, pediatrics has been included as a subspecialty of radiology. That was not the case in the recently published 2019 survey [1]. The problem with excluding pediatric radiology from the workforce data is multifold.
