HHS Releases $1.5 Billion to States, Tribes to Combat Opioid Crisis
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Administration (SAMHSA) provided $1.5 billion in funding to
states and tribes for the first round of State Opioid
Response (SOR) and Tribal Opioid Response (TOR) grant
programs. This funding supports community-level resources
that provide prevention, treatment, and recovery support
services.
