Royal Philips buying Wayne-based Intact Vascular for $360M
Health technology giant Royal Philips has agreed to acquire Chester County medical device developer Intact Vascular in a deal valued at $360 million.
Under the terms, Wayne-based Intact Vascular will receive an upfront payment of $275 million from Philips (NYSE: PHG). Philips, headquartered in The Netherlands, will also make deferred payments expected to total $85 million.
The acquisition is one of the largest M&A deals in the region this year.
