PeriAnesthesia Staffing Re-Model

Staffing is one of the major challenges facing health care today and affecting our patient care and overall outcomes. Staffing in the PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit is different than any other critical care areas. There is a lack of evidence based research to guide staffing in the PACU and ASPAN has recognized the need for further research focusing on staffing ratios.
