Inuit women in Nunavut suffer 'unnecessary violence,' racism from RCMP, legal aid board says

In a pair of letters to the Civilian Review and Complaints Commission for the RCMP, the Legal Services Board of Nunavut describes 30 examples where Inuit women say they were ignored, humiliated or abused by officers. The board is calling for a systemic review of policing in Nunavut.
