Difficulties that patients with chronic diseases face in the primary care setting in Singapore: a cross-sectional study.

CONCLUSION: Patients in our population reported lower hassles than those in Parchman et al's study. Increasing age and lower education level were associated with lower hassles. Further analysis of the types of chronic diseases may yield new information about the association of healthcare hassles with the number and types of chronic diseases.
