Convenience store chain offering free kids' meals
In response to children going hungry during the COVID-19 shutdown, convenience store chain Sheetz has expanded its Kidz Meal Bagz program to all 600 locations across the mid-Atlantic, including more than 100 in North Carolina. The Altoona, Pennsylvania company also operates a distribution center and commercial kitchen in Burlington, where it employs 260.
