Prostatic-type tissue in the uterine cervix

We report a case of incidental prostatic-type tissue in a loop excision specimen for cervical intra-epithelial neoplasia (CIN). We also review the histogenesis, potential pitfalls and immunohistochemistry of this diagnosis.
