Index Finger Metacarpophalangeal Joint Arthrodesis With a Dorsal Locking Plate

We present our technique of performing index finger MCP arthrodesis using a dorsal locking plate. The proposed benefits of this technique include the ability to position the MCP joint in the desired degree of flexion, generation of parallel fusion surfaces with even compression across the arthrodesis site, and stable fixation.
