Ascending Lumbar Vein Angioplasty and Stenting to Improve Lower Extremity Venous Drainage in the Setting of Ipsilateral Common Iliac Vein Occlusion

Iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis(IFDVT) can result in the post-thrombotic syndrome(PTS) with catheter directed thrombolysis(CDT) aiming to reduce the development and/or severity of PTS. After reduction of thrombus burden with thrombolysis any underlying anatomic venous abnormalities should be addressed.
