Association of serum vitamin D with frailty in older Korean adults
Frailty is common in community-dwelling older people, with 10% deemed frail and 44% deemed pre-frail [1]. Frailty increases the risk of adverse health outcomes such as disability, falls, morbidity, long-term care use, and mortality [2,3]. With the aging of the population, frailty will likely increase, leading to an increase in healthcare costs [4].
