There is no Finish Line in the Race against Breast Cancer

I have resigned to the fact that I am not through with fighting breast cancer. So, I have been working hard to boost my immune system and find supportive therapies to increase my overall health. To be honest, I wouldn’t be as committed to this process if I had never been diagnosed with breast cancer. A general healthy lifestyle would have been my goal and more than likely would have been more geared towards anti-aging and staying fit and attractive. Staying cancer free wins out over vanity. Recently I found the naturopath I want to trust my health to. I travel to Canada to see him and only because the consults I had with the excellent naturopaths here in Michigan did not yield anyone who was focused on cancer treatment and prevention. Dr. Marier ND, in Windsor Ontario is. He is constantly searching out leading treatments worldwide and implementing them in his practice for patients fighting cancer and those like me working to reduce the risk. Finding him however was a huge initiative, just like finding the perfect oncologist or reconstructive surgeon. I needed someone I could trust and who I was convinced was as committed to my health as me. This journey to wellness encompasses my continued race to stay ahead of anything cancer can throw at me.
