When Doctor and Patient Disagree

Patients often pressurize doctors to do stuff for them - in subtle , and sometimes not-so-subtle ways . This is especially true for IVF patients , and this can put IVF doctors into a quandary. Let's take the example of a 43-year-old woman who wants to have a baby. She goes to the doctor and says - I want you to do surrogacy for me. She is convinced that the reason she's not getting pregnant is because her uterus is no longer working properly - and that if she uses a young surrogate , she will surely get pregnant.
