Functional Durability of Hemodialysis Access

The decision to perform hemodialysis (HD) via arteriovenous access (AV) using either a fistula (AVF) or graft (AVG) or tunneled central venous catheter (CVC) is not well-informed by functional durability data. We investigated the functional durability of the first HD access site for patients on chronic HD.
