A report from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), released late Tuesday night, revealed that millions of Australians are believed to have been affected by data breaches in the three months to 30 June.High profile data breaches in the last few months include Canva, which had a breach affecting an estimated 139 million users globally, and property valuer Landmark White which lost millions of dollars in a breach earlier this year.The OAIC ’s report on the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme said there was one breach affecting “10,000,001 or more” people.
