Hahnemann University Hospital shuts down every department except one

Hahnemann University Hospital today shut down its laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy and radiology departments, ahead of the hospital ’s total closure early next month, NBC 10 reports. The 496-bed hospital, which declared bankruptcy in early July, is now operating just one department, the Drexel outpatient oncology suite. The hospital will close permanently by Sept. 6.
