Evaluation of the efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasma in postoperative Mohs surgery patients: A prospective analysis

Introduction: Autologous plasma rich in platelets (PRP) is a derived blood product whose application and value in both clinical therapy and the cosmetics industry is still being assessed. Although the effectiveness of PRP as an antibacterial and regenerative agent in wound healing trajectories highlights its potential therapeutic value, more studies are still needed to understand this possible therapy ’s effectiveness, mechanism of action, and ideal dosing; especially in postoperative Mohs surgery patients.
