The WTaMoNbV alloy is brittle at room temperature; therefore, the alloy ingot could be pulverized by jaw-crushing and ball-milling, and the fabricated powders had an irregular shape. After sieving using meshes ranging in size from 25 to 63 μm, the powders were spheroidized using inductively-coupled thermal plasma. Using this process, spherical WTaMoNbV high entropy alloy powders with d50 of 45.1 μm could be fabricated successfully.
