A Post-Holidays Check In: How’s Your MS Today?

January is officially two weeks old, the holiday season is behind us and a long winter lay ahead. It’s time for our monthly check in. How’s your MS today? The months after the end-of-year holidays can be a difficult time for people living with multiple sclerosis. I once read (I have no idea where or when) that more MS relapses happen the first six weeks or so into the new year than any other time of the calendar. That is, of course, if you take out the first three months after a woman gives birth (but that’s a post of a different color). As you check in with yourself and our community with this month’s checkup, I’d also like to ask that you think about this blog as well. We’re soon to mark seven years of blogging about living with multiple sclerosis. Sometimes topics come easily and sometimes I struggle to (and oft, I’m sure, miss the mark) find something worth your time two or three times each week. I’d like you to offer up a topic or two that you’d like to see covered (or talked about again) in our tri-weekly chats. I can’t promise I’ll use each of your suggestions, but I’d like to think of this as our community far more than just my blog. So; How is your MS today and what might you like to see discussed in the New Year? Wishing you and your family the best of health. Cheers Trevis You can also follow me via our Life With MS Facebook page, on Twitter, and in our group on MS Connection.org. Also, check out our bi-monthly MS blog for the United Kingdo...
