AMR Named in Massachusetts Lawsuit

TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) - The family of an 80-year-old woman who was killed during the 2016 Taunton rampage is suing the city and the ambulance company. The suit claims Patricia Slavin could still be alive if emergency responders had arrived sooner. A Target 12 investigation after the rampage aired 911 calls that revealed confusion between responding agencies. In May 2016, Arthur DeRosa was involved in a motor vehicle crash outside Patricia and Kathleen Slavin's home in Taunton. After, investigators say DeRosa entered their home and stabbed both of them repeatedly. DeRosa would go onto to the Silver City Galleria. MORE
