Venous Arterialization with Common Endovascular Devices

This report describes endovascular venous arterialization with the use of devices commonly available in interventional laboratories. A 61-year-old woman undergoing long-term dialysis with no other major risks for chronic limb ischemia presented with rest pain and nonhealing wounds on her right foot (Rutherford category 6) for a duration of 6 months. Poor vascularization to the foot was seen on selective angiography (Figs 1, 2). Recanalization of the anterior tibial artery was attempted twice but was unsuccessful.
