03:09 PM Abstract No. 132 Utility of endometrial biopsy in patients undergoing uterine artery embolization: a retrospective review of outcomes and periprocedural imaging

Endometrial biopsy (EMB) is performed in the preprocedural evaluation of patients with abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) referred for uterine artery embolization (UAE), despite these patients almost uniformly undergoing pelvic MRI. We compared the detection rate of MRI relative to EMB for endometrial abnormalities in both pre- and post-menopausal women.
