Johnson & Johnson delves into robotics, buys Auris Health for $3.4 billion
Johnson& Johnson, one of the largest maker of health products, is now in the robotics space.
The New Brunswick, New Jersey-based company announced Wednesday that it would buy surgery firm Auris Health for $3.4 billion in cash.
Auris Health is a privately held developer of robotic technologies, initially focused in lung cancer, with an FDA-cleared platform currently used in bronchoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
