[Epstein-Barr Virus-Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis: Rarity and Severity in an Immunocompetent Adult].

We report a clinical case of Epstein-Barr virus-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, complicated with disseminated intravascular coagulation which evolved favorably with only supportive therapy and without specific treatment.
