Judge weighs release of more details of Purdue's opioid marketing plan

A Massachusetts state judge could rule as soon as Monday on whether to make public behind-the-scenes details of Purdue Pharma ’s opioid marketing campaign that are currently redacted in a state lawsuit against the company. Those details are part of a 300-page lawsuit that Attorney General Maura Healey first filed against Purdue in June, which accused the company and 16 current and former executives of misleading doctor s and patients about the risks of OxyContin, an opioid manufactured by Purdue.…
