Effect of a Scheduled Nurse Intervention on Thirst and Dry Mouth in Intensive Care Patients.
CONCLUSION: Scheduled use of ice water oral swabs and lip moisturizer with menthol may lessen thirst intensity and dry mouth in critical care patients.
