Progress Toward Regional Measles Elimination Worldwide, 20002017

This Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) says that despite decreases in incidence and mortality during 2000-2017, the 2015 global milestones have not been achieved, and there has been a measles resurgence in Europe. Continuing to increase coverage of measles vaccination is critical to achieving and sustaining elimination goals.
