It’s fine. There is no disadvantage to applying to med school with double science rather than triple. As far as A-levels are concerned, this is far too many years ago now, but au didnsouble science GCSE, and then had to move schools for A-levels to a place where everyone else had triple science - but even then I managed just fine and got A grades (no A* back then).
