@democracy some 25 year olds would gladly choose to locum as FY2 forever (those who don't plan long term) because they are earning well in excess of £100k per year which is on par if not more than what many consultants earn. Obviously I discourage them from doing that.

Lol, even with that kind of money I think most of them would go stir crazy eventually.
