NESVS24. Younger Patients Have Worse Outcomes After Peripheral Vascular Interventions for Aortoiliac Occlusive Disease

The options for treatment of aortoiliac occlusive disease (AIOD) are suprainguinal bypass (SIB) and peripheral vascular intervention (PVI). Whereas PVI is currently more commonly used, the choice of intervention is often dictated by the patient ’s age and comorbidities. We compared the association of the patient’s age with 1-year major adverse limb event (MALE)-free survival (MFS) and reintervention-free survival (RFS) among patients undergoing different treatments for AIOD.
