Pharmacokinetic analysis

Hardman Pharmacokinetic analysis is an experimentally determined theory of how a drug behaves when in vivo. Volume of distribution, clearance and terminal half-life are defined. Compartmental modelling is introduced and some relevant graphs are described in this article. Applications of this theory in anaesthesia are considered.
