Redo Aortic Arch Reconstruction in a Takayasu's Patient

Takayasu's arteritis with an onset during a patient's teenage years carries a poor prognosis. Symptoms related to visceral or cerebral ischemia may require revascularization. Although there was some initial enthusiasm for endovascular approaches surgical reconstruction has been shown to be more durable. This case report describes a patient that required redo aortic reconstruction for cerebral ischemia.
