(MedPage Today) -- A 33-year-old Hispanic woman who had recently started taking oral contraceptives again after the birth of her second child went to her dermatologist to ask about hyperpigmented patches that had appeared on her cheeks. She thought she saw the start of lesions on her forehead as well. They were in a confluent configuration. She wanted to know how to get rid of them--or at least decrease their appearance.
