Phoenix nonprofit opens $1.5M health facility for homeless

A Phoenix nonprofit is opening a $1.5 million health care facility aimed at treating the homeless and taking that burden off local hospitals and providers. Circle the City has launced its Downtown Family Health Center and in August will open the 50-bed Medical Respite Center at the Human Services Campus at 220 S. 12th Ave. Both facilities are designed to help men, women and children experiencing homelessness, officials said.
