Pitt medical school to start program to boost physician-scientist work

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is getting $5 million in funding to start the University of Pittsburgh Physician Scientist Incubator program to train the next generation of physician-scientists. The $2.5 million grant from Burroughs Wellcome Fund is being matched by a $2.5 million grant from UPMC and $250,000 from Pitt.
