We sleep, eat, drink and poop but we might be doing these routine things the wrong way. Holding a drink When it comes to holding your drink the first thing to remember is that your hands conduct heat and as a result, they may warm up your beverage if you are holding your bottle or glass in the wrong place. It is most natural for us to hold the largest part of the bottle or glass but that is the wrong way to do it. You should hold your bottle by the neck and you should hold your glass by the stem. Peeling a banana Most people try to open bananas by the stem, which sometimes results in a smashed top or bruises. To do this properly, we take notes from the monkeys who turn the banana upside down and open it from the base. If you pinch the base, it easily splits revealing your bruise free banana. Brushing your teeth Brushing your teeth seems like it would be a straight forward process but many people get this wrong as well. First start out with just a small dab of toothpaste. Do not apply too much pressure when you are brushing to avoid damaging the enamel. Take your time when brushing, spend at least 30 seconds on each quadrant. Lastly, never brush your teeth right after you eat. Some foods weaken your enamel, so brushing right after eating will damage the enamel.
