Management of Post-Traumatic Subglottic Stenosis and Pharyngosubglottic Fistula

We report a very rare presentation of penetrating neck trauma presenting with fracture of the cricoid cartilage, subglottic stenosis and pharyngosubglottic fistula. The term ‘pharyngosubglottic fistula’ is used here for the first time to describe a communication tract between hypopharynx and subglottis. The successful surgical management of this case is discussed.
