'I had to shout, scream and beg for help' - a GP's ordeal as an NHS hospital patient

A GP hospitalised for four weeks this winter has lifted the lid on shocking care - being left overnight in extreme pain, ignored, denied food and in one case forced to Google the hospital reception number to call for help. Below, GPonline publishes an exclusive first-hand account of his ordeal.
