HCI acquisition will grant access to new market
The HCI Group, a Jacksonville-based global health care IT consulting firm, has acquired Infinity HIT in an effort to access new clients.
Infinity HIT is a Meditech ready partner, meaning it works with the third largest software vendor of Electronic Health Records (EHR).
"Our access to that client base has been lacking," HCI CEO Ricky Caplin told the Business Journal.
Meditech works with a large number of rural and small hospital s, a client base HCI has not specifically targeted before.
