Twin Cities lab animal monitoring company to be sold for $70M

Data Sciences International, which makes equipment for monitoring lab animals, has reached a deal to be sold to a Massachusetts company for about $70 million. The buyer is Harvard Bioscience, a Holliston, Mass.-based company that makes life sciences equipment. The company announced the deal Monday.
