Dramatic Gains in Insurance Coverage for Women of Reproductive Age Are Now in Jeopardy

The proportion of women of reproductive age (15 –44) who were uninsured dropped by 41% between 2013 and 2016, over the first three years of the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) major expansions to Medicaid and private insurance coverage.
