Valeant unit headed by Raleigh-based Humphries eyes new FDA approval
Ortho Dermatologics – the newly rebranded dermatology unit of Valeant Pharmaceuticals, headed up by Raleigh-based Bill Humphries – has its sights set on U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for its ALTRENO lotion for the treatment of acne.
The company said Friday that the FDA has accepted a new drug applicat ion for ALTRENO, with a PDUFA date – the deadline by which the FDA will potentially approve the drug – of Aug. 27.
