172: Obstetric factors and outcomes associated with external cephalic version

Breech presentation occurs in 3% of term pregnancies. External cephalic version (ECV) provides a means for reducing the cesarean delivery (CD) rate. Despite a 58% chance of success, only 20-30% of eligible women are offered an ECV. We sought to determine the rate of success in attempted ECV and identify characteristics associated with a successful version.
