185: Delivery of non-macrosomic large for gestational age neonates: Morbidity and mortality

At 37-39 wks, neonates may be large for gestational age (LGA; birth weight [BW] ≥ 90% for gestational age [GA]), but not macrosomic (BW ≥ 4,000 g at any GA). There is a paucity of evidence about adverse outcomes among non-macrosomic LGA (NM-LGA). Our primary objective was to evaluate the rate of neonatal mortality and composite neonatal morbidity (CNM) among NM-LGA versus A GA (appropriate for GA; BW at 10-90%); the secondary objective compared composite maternal morbidity (CMM) among the two groups.
