Marylanders' health improved in 2017, but the state is still fighting drug problems

Maryland is the 16th healthiest state in the country, though the state continues to struggle with issues of drug overdose and infant mortality, according to a new report. The United Health Foundation recently released its 28th annual America's Health Rankings report. It detailed state and national data regarding key health indicators like smoking, drug deaths and uninsured rates.
