Things Happening Around Here (food centric)…

Mom and I just went to Sonic and drank two large strawberry/banana milkshakes and they were divine.  They actually used real strawberries and bananas to make the milkshakes. We couldn’t settle on large shakes alone and ordered two Asiago chicken club sandwiches before we left. Mom tipped the female carhop, a middle-aged frumpy looking little lady, $3 dollars and she acted like we told her she won the lottery.  She was so very thankful. Dad has arrived at the beach house.  He just called me and told me it is beautiful on the Gulf of Mexico this evening -- almost kind of overcast and chilly with the sea breeze he said. Charlie also just called and wanted to know if I needed anything to eat.  He laughed when I told him of my and mom’s escapades at Sonic this evening. Mom and I have both decided we want Taco Hell for supper tomorrow night instead of the usual Sunday fried chicken.  Mom has already called Charlie and told him he has this Sunday off. Mom and I also stopped by Kroger to get dog food.  The Purina One Maggie loves was on special and had 50 percent lamb as an ingredient.
