Coloradans will pay even more for individual health insurance in 2018 after Trump action

Individual-market health-insurance premiums for 2018 will jump another 6 percent after President Donald Trump announced plans late Thursday to discontinue cost-sharing reduction payments to insurers, but no Colorado insurers will leave the market because of the decision, state officials said Friday. Trump announced he would end the CSR program despite pressure from insurers, health-care officials and politicians of both parties to continue them at least through 2019.
